But getting to your vacation rental is quite simple: you go straight to your unit!

After your final deposit is processed, 45 days before your arrival in the winter (30 days before in the summer), we will email you check-in instructions with a map attached for you to print out.  Make sure you print the map and the email text in order to ensure you have all the information you need to get into your vacation rental unit.  Usually, there will be a code on the email for opening a lockbox or a combination lock on the door to your unit.  If the door requires a key, you will find a spare key in the lockbox, and several more keys waiting for you inside.  (You should put the spare key back into the lockbox so that it is there if you need it.)

Guests arriving at the Westwind at Vail or Lodge at Avon Center late at night will have a similar procedure, but during business hours, they can pick up their keys at the front desk.

If it is within 30 days of your arrival date, and you still have not received your check-in instructions, please shoot us an email or give us a call.  It’s probably because you haven’t yet signed the damage waiver or confirmation, or it could be that we have the wrong email address for you.  Please let us know, because Vail Management Company wants your Vail or Avon vacation rental experience to be as smooth as 6 inches of fresh powder at first light.
