Where to Rent Ski Gear this Season

If you aren’t bringing your own ski gear from home, not to worry! There are plenty of local ski shops that are ready to assist you with getting everything you need to get out on the slopes! Check out some of our favorite local ski rental shops in the vail valley, or you can even opt for a more concierge ski service like Premier Ski Delivery that will bring the gear straight to you. Best Spots for Après Ski in Vail

After the runs have closed for the day or you are ready to warm up, head into the Vaill Village for an après ski drink or snack! There are options to fit every mood and budget from a ski bum’s favorite to elevated cocktails overlooking Bridge Street. Here are a few of our favorite spots for Vail après ski!

Red Lion — A Vail Village staple, the Red Lion is renowned for its après ski-friendly menu and atmosphere. Stop in to order a winter warmer cocktail along with a plate of their famous Red Lion nachos while jamming out to live music.

The George — The George is another local favorite bar for unwinding after a day on the slopes. This underground bar will have you warmed up in no time with cozy booths, cheap draft drinks, and eclectic décor fitting of a ski town establishment. The George’s daily happy hour makes it a prime destination for après ski enjoyment!

Pepi’s Bar — Keeping the cozy ski town atmosphere but elevating the cocktails, Pepi’s Bar is a perfect après pick. You can find seasonal craft cocktails while enjoying the live music and the view of Bridge Street. Stop in to this iconic vail pub or dine at the restaurant for an elevated dining experience with Austrian inspiration.
