STUDIO FEATURES: Inside your studio is a queen size bed and 1 full bathroom. A kitchenette that is equipped with a half-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The living space boasts a queen sofa sleeper, gas fireplace, TV and balcony.
Located in the Lift House Lodge, guests enjoy a collection of on-site amenities designed to elevate the Vail experience. The highlight is the fourth-floor rooftop hot tub, a guest favorite and the perfect place to unwind after a day on the mountain—soak under open skies while taking in the alpine atmosphere, whether it’s fresh snowfall in winter or crisp mountain air in summer. Additional conveniences include elevator access to all floors and coin-operated laundry facilities. The building is pet-friendly (welcoming up to two dogs; fees apply) and offers limited first-come, first-served parking for a nightly fee ($50 per night during the winter season and $30 per night in non-winter months), with the Lionshead public parking garage just steps away if the lot is full.
NO air conditioning, but the high-altitude setting and balcony access provide natural cooling throughout the day.
Lift House Lodge Pet Policy & Fees:
We welcome up to 2 dogs per reservation. Please ask for pet friendly unit availability. A pet fee of $35 per dog, per night applies. Please note that Airbnb only allows a flat pet fee to be collected at the time of booking. If your stay requires additional pet fees (e.g., longer stays or multiple dogs beyond the flat amount charged by Airbnb), we will:
1. Send a payment request for the remaining balance through Airbnb’s Resolution Center after booking,
2. OR You may choose to pay the additional pet fees at check-in at the Lift House Lodge.

Great location and well appointed little condo. Unfortunately the building and condo is very hot. We turned the heat off the entire time we stayed there and had to leave the door open.
I suspect that the condo can’t control the temp of the building so my suggestion is to get the building to turn down the hallway and central
Heat. It will make a big difference inside the units.

Studio units are compact but well organized and highly functional in a great locations close to lifts, shops, and restaurants. Tradeoff of space is worth it for convenience and level of comfort. Unit was a little dated/worn - skillet handle loose; grab bar in shower falling off, etc. but clean and comfortable including sofa bed. Front desk was helpful - noise level was low and other guests considerate. Parking lot is small and ice covered so slippery and hard to fit cars efficiently.

The unit was clean and quite livable, it's just very expensive for what it is. It's a very basic, very plain studio apartment in need of some maintenance. The premium cost (double what you might expect) is clearly just due to being in Vail, in the Lionshead village and very close to the lifts. In the future, we would try to find some place more affordable away from the village.

We loved the studio condo and the location within the Village of Lionshead. The balcony faced the ice rink, the entertainment area and the kids playground. We saw the tree lighting, professional figure skaters as well as families skating and playing. The only drawback to the location is that parking is in the paid lot which can cost up to $50 per day. This negates the good value of this rental. Hopefully, the Lift House can strike a deal with the paid lot since they no longer own the parking adjacent to the building. Overall, we would stay there again.
