Located in Sun Vail Condominiums, this ground-floor condo combines comfort, convenience, and spectacular Vail Mountain views—all just steps from the action in Lionshead Village. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area creates a spacious, welcoming great room—perfect for relaxing or entertaining after a day on the slopes. Curl up by the gas fireplace or stretch out on the brand-new sleeper sofa, ideal for extra guests. Large windows frame breathtaking views of the Vail Mountain, bringing the beauty of the outdoors right into your living space.
FEATURES: 2-Bedrooms / 2-baths; the primary bedroom has a king bed, private full bath. The second bedroom has two twins size beds, and a full bathroom in the hall. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. Spacious patio with plenty of seating, mountain view and gas grill.
Just a short walk across the pedestrian bridge leads you to the Eagle Bahn Gondola, ski lifts, and all the shops, restaurants, and après-ski hotspots in Lionshead. After a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring, unwind at Sun Vail’s resort-style amenities, including a year-round heated outdoor pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a redwood sauna for total relaxation.
NOTE: NO Air-conditioning, but we are at 8000 feet elevation; in the summer, opening a patio door or windows cools the condo pretty quickly, but then you may hear some highway noise.

We've been staying at Sun Vail for many years and love the location and the facilities (pool, hot tubs, & sauna). Our villa was excellent overall. Very comfortable and relaxing. That said we did find a few minor issues that we think should be addressed. Many of the drawers are in need of repair. The toilet paper holder in the master bath needs securing. All of the windows in the main room are missing screens. That helps the view but also tends to let in insects. Finally, we found lots of spiders, which tends to freak out my wife. I don't think any of them were dangerous but they are an issue. Again, overall a great place to stay and we'll likely be back next summer.

We also spoke with our housekeeping team about being extra diligent in checking for spiders, and our maintenance team is installing screens on the windows to help prevent them from getting inside.

As a family of 4, we had plenty of space in this condo. We also enjoyed that it was so close to the town and we could easily walk to the lifts. Highly recommend.

We loved this property. The location was great as it gave us easy access to Vail Village via the pedestrian walkway. Access to the grocery store was just down the outer road and you can get on the highway in a matter of minutes. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed. The complex was well kept and the pool/hot tubs were clean. We are already looking to book for next year.
